The absence of Black figures in Brazilian high society led Germano de Souza to promote events for prominent Black figures in venues traditionally frequented by the white elite. Thus, Germano Black Society was born, a social columnist, communicator, activist, and promoter of “Black high society” for 50 years.

The film follows Netinho, a legendary Brazilian rock drummer, and his son Sandro on their mission to reunite the iconic band Casa das Máquinas after five decades. The narrative revisits Netinho’s trajectory, from his success with Os Incríveis in the 1960s to the turbulence of rock in the 1970s, addressing themes such as fatherhood, masculinity, drug addiction, and the impact of time. At the heart of the story is the power of music as redemption and reconciliation, in a final, emotionally charged flight.
