Synopsis:
Chico dedicated his entire life to Cine São Paulo, a building he inherited from his father — badly damaged and in need of care. Restoring it, so that the old movie theater could return to life, became his greatest obsession.

Synopsis:
Between the Tapajós and Amazon rivers, in the state of Pará, lies a region known as Baixo Tapajós — one of the most conflict-ridden areas of the Brazilian Amazon. Synopsis: My name is Iawarete Kaiabi. This film is my quest — a journey to understand why my people are choosing Christianity and abandoning our traditions. More than that, it’s a deep dive into this process through the lens of my own family, now divided between Christians and non-Christians. The Father and the Shaman explores, through my personal story, the exploitation my people are subjected to. Evangelical missionaries have occupied the Xingu Indigenous Territory, tearing apart the social fabric of the many ethnic groups who inhabit this land.
